  • What processing fees apply to donations made through uBack?

    uBack is very focused on ensuring charities receive as much funding as possible to support their mission. Therefore, uBack keeps processing fees low - 2.9% Credit Card Processing Fee + 1% per donation.

  • What services do I receive as a nonprofit from these fees?

    uBack provides nonprofits a secure donation platform and timely donation processing (approximately 4 - 5 business days) that can be ready to use within 24 hours. In addition, uBack:
    Provides leading-edge donation capabilities including logo recognition.
    Reduces the administrative effort required to process donations.
    Allows for push notifications re: updates to donors (i.e., how a supporter’s money is being used, press releases, etc.).
    Donor reporting to inform customer-relationship management systems and tools.

  • How can I sign-up for uBack?

    uBack offers a self-service nonprofit sign-up page by visiting our website. When on the website go Menu > Nonprofit > Nonprofit Signup button on the middle of the top picture. If you have questions when signing up, please contact support@ubackforgood.com and our team will happily assist!

Donors

  • What if the logo recognition capability crashes?

    For users who did not allow uBack to have access to the camera this may happen when accessing the logo recognition capability. To prevent this from happening in the future go to Settings --> Privacy --> Camera and allow uBack access to your camera.

  • How Secure is uBack?

    Very secure. uBack is proud to partner with Bank of America to process your donations. All credit card information is stored with Bank of America who is PCI compliant and often acknowledged as one of the most secure merchant service providers.

  • What fees do I need to pay to use the app?

    uBack is available at no cost. Click here to download uBack via the Apple Store.

Corporate Sponsors

  • What does my organization need to do to sign-up with uBack?

    uBack offers a self-service nonprofit sign-up page. To reach this sign-up page visit uBack’s website and click Menu > Corporate Sponsor > Corporate Sponsor Signup button. If you have questions when signing up, please contact support@ubackforgood.com and our team will be glad to assist.

  • How does my organization integrate the nonprofit organizations we support into uBack?

    uBack welcomes the opportunity to integrate your nonprofits. To do so, have your nonprofits visit our nonprofit sign-up page on the uBack website. They can access this sign-up page by visiting our website and clicking Menu > Nonprofit Signup button. We will integrate your nonprofit into your Corporate Sponsor page within 48 hours and contact your nonprofit with additional information that may help them maximize their use of uBack.

  • How can our employee giving activity work through uBack?

    Contact the uBack team at support@ubackforgood.com to let us know you would like to have your Employee Giving Campaign supported by uBack. Please include the following details:

    Organization Name:
    Campaign Start Date:
    Campaign End Date:
    Targeted Nonprofit Organizations (if applicable):
    Special Notes / Comments re: Employee Giving Campaign

    Our uBack team will be in-touch within 48 hours. In addition to this e-mail that will be coming soon (fall 2015) is a special code (e.g., uBack2850) which your employees can enter to activate uBack’s matching capability.
